PLEASE BE ADVISED: Any and all payments made are non-refundable. If your membership application is accepted and payment is submitted, your membership is considered LIVE — early termination of membership will not qualify you for a refund — partial or otherwise. You may PAUSE your membership for up to 3 months per contract. Membership pauses will add 3 months on the back end of your contract and will not effect payment. We cannot  guarantee relationships, or marriage — but our promise is to use all available resources to help you find your forever someone.

Termination of membership by a member must be sent via email, text or registered mail. Voicemail messages will not be accepted. Once the termination is in effect the original membership cannot be reinstated or transferable to another person. Please note if you would like another membership after termination the member will be responsible for the new membership fee and it must be paid in full to start the activation of the membership. Member’s inappropriate conduct or behavior or behavior that is otherwise detrimental to the interests of The Sealed Deal, as determined solely by The Sealed Deal and Liv Talley is Cause for Termination.

The membership is activated from the date the payment is processed. If a member does not use the membership, it is non-transferable. We have a no refund policy for the reason that a majority of the work is done at the beginning of every client’s contract.  If a client decides to cancel and renew at any time they will have to pay in full the program fee. If you, the client, decide to UPGRADE your membership, you will not have to submit a new application, can make the request via EMAIL and pay the difference to be accepted.

For your convenience, we can complete your initial personal consultation either on the phone or in person. In your consultation, we will go over what you’re looking for in a match, and what type(s) of person you are attracted to, where you want to be matched (ex: if you live in CA and want to go on dates in NYC or prefer to only be matched in your city,) your values + priorities, and your preferences in background or lifestyle from our profile database.

The Sealed Deal does not compensate our members. Signing up to become a member or signing up to date a paying member of our elite network, you acknowledge that there will be no financial consideration for the participation in the Services and are participating only in the hope of meeting a long-term romantic partner. You are joining our network at your own free will to meet someone you are genuinely interested in meeting. Any fees paid to The Sealed Deal by its Clients is confidential information of “TSD” and is solely for the facilitation by “TSD” and Liv by way of helping you find a match. Any user/member warrants there will be no discussion with the Client regarding the Client’s monetary payment to “TSD”.

Upon the occurrence of a force majeure event (defined below), The Sealed Deal shall promptly notify  Client that a force majeure event has occurred (“FM Start Date”). Both parties agree that neither party is responsible for any failure to perform its obligations under this contract during the force majeure event.

When the force majeure event has ended (“FM End Date”), “TSD” will extend the term of your matchmaking agreement by the number of days between the FM Start Date and the FM End Date.

An event of force majeure is an event or circumstance which is beyond the control and without the fault or negligence of the party affected and which by the exercise of reasonable diligence the party affected was unable to prevent provided that event or circumstance is limited to the following:

(a) riot, war, invasion, an act of foreign enemies, hostilities (whether war be declared or not) acts of terrorism, civil war, rebellion, revolution, insurrection of military or usurped power, requisition or compulsory acquisition by any governmental or competent authority;

(b) ionizing radiation or contamination, radioactivity from any nuclear fuel or from any nuclear waste from the combustion of nuclear fuel, radioactive toxic explosive or other hazardous properties of any explosive assembly or nuclear component;

(c) pressure waves caused by aircraft or other aerial devices traveling at sonic or supersonic speeds;

(d) earthquakes, flood, fire, or another physical natural disaster, but excluding weather conditions regardless of severity; and

(e) strikes at the national level or industrial disputes at a national or interstate level.

(f) pandemics, epidemics, other infectious outbreaks or public health emergencies.

In the event of any of the above, The Sealed Deal and Liv Talley expressly denies any liability and your participation in any situation of matchmaking and/or applicable coaching is of your own volition and risk.
